We’ll begin by taking care of securing any necessary permits from your Hillsborough County town. This ensures your new lanai adheres to all local regulations, saving you time and frustration. You can relax knowing your dream outdoor space is on track from the very beginning, allowing you to focus on the exciting design possibilities for your new lanai.
Step 2
A knowledgeable team member will visit your home to discuss ideas and layouts. They’ll take measurements and provide you with our Affordable Lanai brochure and materials catalog. This is your chance to ask any questions you have about the project. After the consultation, we’ll create a detailed quote for your lanai installation, ensuring complete transparency before you move forward.
Step 3
Once you’ve received the quote and have a clear understanding of the project scope and costs simply contact Affordable Lanai to give the go-ahead and we’ll begin scheduling your lanai installation. Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you might have about the specifics of your lanai screen enclosure project!
Step 4
With your approval in hand, we’ll add your project to our schedule and provide an estimated timeframe for installation. There can be variations due to unforeseen circumstances, However, transparency is key – we’ll keep you informed throughout the process. so you’ll always be aware of the progress and your lanai’s estimated completion date.
Step 5
Approximately 1-2 days before your scheduled installation date, we’ll provide the contract for your thorough review. Take your time to carefully examine the contract and ask any questions you might have. Once you’ve reviewed and approved the final details, we can move forward with your project.
Step 6
The day we start your project, our crew will arrive and discuss the details with you. We’ll ensure clear communication; this includes reviewing the project scope, materials being used, and the overall installation timeline. Even if you can’t be present throughout the entire installation, don’t worry! We prioritize open communication and will keep you updated on the progress.
Step 7
Our crew will bring an equipment trailer and a skid steer to your home. We will need to leave both in your driveway or in the street throughout the duration of the project (once started the skid steer can also be parked on your lawn near the Lanai area).
Step 8
With the crew on-site, equipment ready, and the project plan confirmed, We will collect a deposit according to the terms outlined in the contract. This deposit can be conveniently paid in cash, credit card, or check (please note there may be fees for checks).
Step 9
Our crew typically works from 8 AM to 4 PM. There may be slight variations depending on travel distance and project specifics. They’ll take a lunch break midday and clean up the work area thoroughly before leaving for the day. Each crew focuses on one project at a time, ensuring your lanai is completed efficiently.
Step 10
Throughout the installation, our managers will check in with the crew to ensure everything runs smoothly. Each crew has a designated leader who oversees the team. For the most effective communication, any questions or concerns you may have should be directed to our management team or the office.
Step 11
Once the installation is complete and the area is cleaned up, we’ll conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. If you’re happy with the finished lanai, this is when we collect the final payment.
